History

Tamar Love Grande founded her editorial services company, Cranky Editor, in 1999. Specializing in writing and editing manuscripts, marketing collateral, press releases, web copy and resumes, Tamar has worked with an eclectic group of clients, including event-planning specialists, internet executives, entrepreneurs and established and emerging authors. Prior to founding Cranky Editor, Tamar spent a decade gaining corporate experience at traditional companies in San Francisco's Financial District. In addition to performing administrative duties, Tamar researched, wrote and edited business correspondence, contracts, web site copy, marketing materials, press releases and corporate collateral. After the dot-com implosion, she leveraged her skills, experience and editing skills to launch her editorial services company. Tamar Love Grande received her Master of Arts in Creative writing from San Francisco State University in 2000. Her published works include books, short stories and poetry.
