History

Chris and Larry Parker, both award winning USPTA tennis professionals, are pursuing their dream of building a tennis B&B in Murphys, California. In the process, Chris went back to school in Hospitality Management to learn more about the innkeeping business, food and wine. In learning about the wine region and developing a love for the wines that are available so close to Murphys, Courtwood Wine Tasting Tours was born. The Parkers keep a close eye on the new vintages as they are released at each Sierra Foothills Winery, and know where to direct you for the best possible wine tasting experience. Please join us for a relaxing day of wine tasting and discovering all that Murphys Wines and the Sierra Foothills of California have to offer.

Specialties

Sample all you want with no risk of driving. We offer small escorted tours to award winning wineries, flexible itineraries, delicious picnic lunches, local pick up and drop off in a fully licensed and insured 2011 van. Calaveras County wineries are our specialty. Included are water and sodas for the road, complete lunch, educational materials on our area wineries and wines and any tasting fees that are charged.
