Mr. Garrett received his undergraduate degree from UCLA, where he studied American Constitutional and legal history. Prior to joining Cohen Gardner, Mr. Garrett contributed to several high-profile entertainment appeals, including those involving The Doors, Anna Nicole Smith, and "Gone in 60 Seconds."
