Four Creeks Elementary School s academic curriculum includes reading, language arts, math, science, social studies, history and health education. It has an enrollment of more than 700 students in kindergarten through grade six. Four Creeks Elementary School organizes several cocurricular activities, such as talent shows, musical concerts, fall festivals, picture days and book fairs. The school has a staff of nearly 30 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals and is located in Visalia, Calif. Jefferson Elementary School is operated by the Lindsay Unified School District and is located in Lindsay, Calif. The school offers classes in grades kindergarten through five. Its curriculum includes social studies, mathematics, arts, music, writing, reading comprehension, spelling, literature and speaking. The school s library provides a range of books, newspapers and encyclopedias. It provides California Healthy Kids Survey, a comprehensive youth health-risk and resilience data collection service, sponsored by the California Department of Education to measure behaviors of students and the factors that influence them. Jefferson Elementary School additionally offers meal services to students. It also has a counseling and guidance department for students, parents and teachers. The school has a parent involvement to increase awareness in curriculum by enhancing proper communication between home and school.
