The Council for Watershed Health (CWH) is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the health and sustainability of the Los Angeles region's watersheds, rivers, streams, and habitats. Founded by environmental advocate Dorothy Green, CWH employs science-based research, education, and stakeholder engagement to promote ecological, social, and economic well-being in both natural areas and urban neighborhoods.
With a 2025 Vision to model sustainable urban watershed management, CWH aims for clean waters, reliable local water supplies, and revitalized urban centers amidst ample parks and open spaces.
