Founded in 1955, Rehabilitation Institute at Santa Barbara is a 35-plus-bed nonprofit hospital that provides acute care services. It provides specialized inpatient, outpatient and community-based programs for people with brain and spinal cord injuries, neurological and orthopedic problems and various other disabling conditions resulting from injuries and illness. Its pain management program is designed to provide assistance to patients in learning skills and techniques that reduce disability caused by pain, emotional instability and helplessness. The hospital, located in Santa Barbara, Calif., also provides rehabilitation services for individuals with orthopedic-related issues that include bone fracture, joint replacement, arthritis, tendon repair and osteoporosis. Rehabilitation Institute at Santa Barbara is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities in Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs. It is also a member of the American Hospital Association, the American Medical Rehabilitation Providers Association and the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine.

my doctor said they have problems there i'm a 73 from a knee replacement I also have multiple sclerosis and I fatigue easily. I don't think I could handle what I've heard about that place.
