The Masonic Service Association of North America (MSA) is an organization dedicated to serving Freemasonry, its country, and the world, originally formed to provide aid to U.S. military servicemen at the end of World War I. Established in 1919 after discussions among Grand Masters, the MSA aims to offer services to Grand Lodges that are more effectively delivered collectively rather than individually.
Among its key initiatives, the MSA has a long-standing commitment to disaster relief, having issued its first appeal in 1923, and operates a Hospital Visitation Program with around 180 representatives at various VA Medical Centers across the United States. Through its educational efforts, the MSA has distributed millions of publications to inform the public about Freemasonry over the past two decades.
