Redwood Coast Regional Center is a social service provider for people with developmental disabilities. It provides services through a contract with the California Department of Developmental Services. Redwood Coast Regional Center is one of the 21 regional centers established throughout California. The firm offers services to children and adults with developmental disabilities in the Del Norte, Humboldt Lake and Mendocino counties. The firm serves people with disabilities, such as substantial handicap, mental retardation (intellectual disability), cerebral palsy, epilepsy, autism and mental retardation. It offers a wide range of services, including diagnosis, eligibility assessment, individualized planning, service coordination, as well as advocacy for the protection of legal, civil and service rights.
