Coppercreek Camp, located in Greenville, California, has been providing a traditional overnight summer camp experience for youth from around the world for over 50 years. Owned by Sutter Rogers and her husband Taylor Rogers, the camp was tragically impacted by the Dixie Fire in 2021, forcing them to temporarily pivot their small business. Their vision is to rebuild and offer a unique camping experience, including spacious RV sites, renovated bunk cabins for glamping, and expanded tent camping options on their 200-acre forested property.
In addition, Coppercreek Camp plans to serve as an evacuation destination for people and animals during future disasters, providing economic support for the community and a place of respite for guests. To make this vision a reality, the camp is seeking financial resources to rebuild and install the necessary infrastructure.
