Copper Collar Distillery

History

Copper Collar Distillery was established in 2015 by Jason Pelle and Scott Nixon. Early on we worked together as navy divers which is the inspiration behind our Copper Collar name. Historically navy divers were referred to as copper collar workers because of the old copper diving helmets they wore. Anyhow, upon completion of our tours of service, we decided to focus our efforts on starting a business of our own. Naturally we landed on the idea of making liquor. After much planning and practical research, we opened to the public in June of 2016. There is no limit to where we plan to go from here. We do maintain one rule, however, and that is to never sacrifice product quality for growth.

Specialties

Copper Collar Distillery handcrafts all the spirits we sell. From fermentation to distillation to bottling. Only the highest quality ingredients go in to our fermentation and only the purest part of the distillation is kept. Our focus is on small batch premium quality spirits, not mass production and wide distribution. We currently have vodka and silver rum, with gold rum and whisky coming in the not so distant future.
