Cook Elementary School serves more than 350 students in prekindergarten through grade six. The school focuses on providing students with the instructions to meet proficiencies in English language arts and math. Its teachers use district-adopted curriculum and a variety of instructional styles to ensure compliance with California Content Standards. Cook Elementary School conducts classes in science, history, social science and language arts. The school also provides math classes in which addition, subtraction, algebra and functions, and measurement and geometry skills are taught to students.
