Tehama County Mental Health

Tehama County Health Agency comprises four divisions, public health, drug and alcohol, mental health and fiscal division. It provides health education, prevention, assessment, early intervention and treatment with follow-up to county residents. Its public health division is an official government health care organization having a staff of public health nurses, health educators and support personnel. It is responsible for protecting and promoting health, and preventing disease and injury in the community. The clinical services provided by the department include immunizations, pregnancy and urine testing, family planning and parental care, and treatment for tuberculosis and HIV. It also organizes programs on maternal, child and adolescent health care, and disability prevention. Tehama County Health Agency is located in Red Bluff, Calif.
