Founded in 1978 by a small group of parents representing a handful of Christian churches in the Walnut Creek area, Contra Costa Christian Schools has grown to become one of the premier Christian schools in Northern California. Accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, the school is for students of preschool through high school. In addition to the school's academic curriculum, students are also offered the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of extracurricular activities, including varsity and junior varsity sports, music, drama, academic competitions, spiritual and service retreats, intersession classes, and worship teams. Contra Costa Christian Schools is located in Walnut Creek, Calif.
