History

Starting out in 1972 in his hometown of Rochester, New York, Rick Calaci began his illustrious career catering to the very specific needs of owners of British made MG's and Triumph vehicles. He soon discovered his penchant for specializing in luxury vehicles and quickly established a stellar reputation for himself as an up and coming local expert in Jaguar repair. Several years later he moved to the West Coast and in 1992, became the co-owner of Westland Precision Auto located in the Conejo Valley and rapidly built a clientele list exceeding 350 plus Jaguar owners. Two years later he sold his interest in the company and began working for Jaguar of Thousand Oaks whereas his extensive clientele followed him. At the behest of his clients Rick was asked to re-open another privately owned shop which he did in 1994. Conejo Imports became an immediate success and has continued to thrive based primarily on word of mouth advertising, his primary mode of marketing.
