Community Services Unlimited (CSU) is dedicated to promoting food justice and equitable access to healthy food in Los Angeles County's most food insecure areas. Their mission focuses on building self-reliant communities through educational initiatives and programs that support systemic change and critical awareness.
CSU operates the Village Market Place, South LA's first Beyond Organic produce market, which includes a café and evolving urban farm. Through various programs such as CalFresh assistance, Green Savings, and hands-on gardening workshops, CSU fosters community engagement and sustainable practices while addressing local food deserts.
