Community Adventures Preschool

History

I opened my daycare in November 2016 when my twins were just over a year old. I decided to stay home with my children and also create a place for other children to grow in a respectful and home-like environment. As my children have grown, the daycare has transformed into a play-based preschool setting with children close in age.

Community Adventures Preschool is a licensed home-based preschool, located in the Carmel Valley neighborhood of San Diego, California. We maintain, at most, a 1:4 ratio so your child receives the individual care and education they deserve with an emphasis on social and emotional development. An integral part of our program is the time we spend out and about in our community. Each day the children have the opportunity to explore nature and continue to develop their sense of curiosity about the world. Our space is within walking distance of a neighborhood park where the children have the freedom to play, explore, and get dirty. We are also within walking distance of a bluff and grassy area that overlooks the ocean, a library, multiple stores and restaurants, an elementary school, and more.
