Community Access Center

The Community Access Center, also known as CAC, is a nonprofit organization that offers a range of support services for individuals with disabilities. Founded in 1995, it provides various information, advocacy, housing referral, peer counseling, outreach and independent living skills training services for the residents of Riverside County, Calif. The organization administers the Consumer Outreach and Prosecution Strategies program, which includes early intervention, reporting and prosecution assistance. The Community Access Center conducts the Senior Low Vision Program, which features assistance in the areas of money management, self-advocacy training, transportation, and computer and technology education. Additionally, it offers mental health counseling for individuals with hearing impairments through a trained therapist. The Community Access Center maintains a location in Riverside, Calif.
