Founded in 1975, Interim is a nonprofit organization that offers support and affordable housing solutions for individuals with psychiatric disabilities and mental illnesses. The organization provides outreach programs for more than 1,600 homeless adults each year. It operates over 18 facilities in Monterey County in California. Interim also offers employment, educational and residential treatment services. The organization provides a range of programs, such as Manzanita House, Bridge House, Shelter Cove and Sandy Shore. It operates the OMNI Resource Center, which offers healing and leadership programs. In addition, Interim s facilities feature studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments. The organization assists with prescribed psychiatric medications.
