History

The Classic Duck was opened in 1981 by 2 sisters who named the store in honor of their mother who collected ducks of all kinds. Though it started in just a small space in Coddingtown Mall, it has grown and changed several times over the years. Customers change, merchandise changes and now locations too. In 2009 after the death of her sister and the changes in the mall, Lynette moved the store to its current home in Montgomery Village. Now with a little less in home accessories and a lot more in women's accessories the Classic Duck continues.
