History

Classic amp is owned and operated by Mike Franceschini. Beginning in 1996, after receiving an AS degree in Electronics I was hired by Groove Tubes to be head production tech of their amplifier division. Since that time I have worked for a total of seven different boutique amp companies and continue at this time at 65amps in North Hollywood. During all of these years I have pushed to expand my knowledge by taking on any and all repairs of guitar and bass amplifiers in my spare time. These include all of SIR Studios Hollywood needs along with high profile vintage music stores in the LA area. I can say with a humble conviction I have worked on more amplifiers then anyone you will ever meet. Classic Amp's shop has been in it's current North Hollywood location since 2006
