Quiet. Calm. Reassuring. Those three words perfectly describe Dr. Green and her approach to patients. An avid learner, Dr. Green is well versed in patient care and knows the importance of making her patient the priority. As a family medicine physician, Dr. Green enjoys treating patients of all ages and helping them through the various life stages. She is keenly aware that a trusted patient-physician relationship is critical for providing the best health care possible and true to her people-person nature, she strives to develop long-term relationships with her patients. As Dr. Green has stated, “I find it extremely rewarding to help my patients get healthy and serve as a resource and educator for them.” One of Dr. Green’s specialties is delivering osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) in which she uses her hands to diagnose and treat structural issues within the body. This process is commonly used to treat conditions such as headaches, neck or back pain. Dr. Green attended medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine and completed her residency at Mercy General Health Partners in Michigan. She went on to pursue a fellowship in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine at Ingham Regional Medical Center in Michigan. Prior to joining Hoag Medical Group, Dr. Green spent the last 12 years in private practice. Away from work, Dr. Green enjoys spending time with her family and her many nieces and nephews. Whether it is skiing or visiting the beaches, Dr. Green thoroughly enjoys being outside and enjoying all that California has to offer.
