The Vista Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining the city streets and park facilities, drainage systems, traffic signals and signs and for trash removal and recycling with Escondido Disposal Inc. (EDCO). Based in Vista, Calif., the department offers a host of services, such as removal of household hazardous waste facility, trash exemption request, trash and recycling collection, to name a few. It is also responsible for graffiti removal and solid waste management. The Vista Public Works Department works through many divisions, including streets, wastewater, park maintenance, facilities maintenance and fleet maintenance.
