The Church of Scientology is a large organization devoted to the practice and the promotion of the Scientology belief system founded by L. Ron Hubbard. It has been recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a nonprofit charitable organization. The church sends its teams of volunteer ministers to the scenes of major disasters in order to provide assistance with relief efforts. In addition to delivering touch assists, the church distributes food and water to victims of hurricanes. Members of the public entering a Scientology church are offered a free personality test called the Oxford Capacity Analysis by Scientology literature.
