HistoryOur church began on September 20th, 2001 with our first Bible Study. About 25 adults attended and the Spirit of God was moving! People were brought into a relationship with the Lord for the first time. The next week, we held a neighborhood barbeque and again, people gave their lives to Christ. We launched a Bible Study for High School kids that grew quickly in a matter of weeks. It was amazing just to sit back and watch God grow us into a family. Along with family, friends and a group of new believers, we held our first service on January 6th 2002 at the San Marcos Civic Center. The Lord was present that day and many people made a first time commitment to Jesus. theMovement Church was officially launched. Since then we have moved into our current location at 1609 Capalina Rd. San Marcos, Ca. where we continue to see the heart of the Lord move through his people and this region.
