DaLene Forester Thacker, PhD LMFT LPCC is a highly qualified and experienced therapist based in Redding, CA, specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, anxiety disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). With her expertise as a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress, Dr. Forester offers private, effective, and safe therapy services, including EMDR therapy, which has proven to be beneficial for victims of traumatic experiences, addictions, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain. As the Director and a trainer at the Advanced Education Institute (AEI), a leading institution for advanced education in the fields of Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, and Psychology, Dr. Forester provides clinical consultation for working with eating disordered patients, as well as certification and training in EMDR therapy.
