History

Becoming a tax professional was an unusual choice for someone who spent 20 years in the music business. But I chose a career in which I had all the inherent talent necessary for the work: analytical, attention to detail, thoroughness. I went back to graduate school and studied for three years to prepare for my career change. Then I worked in a well-respected tax firm in San Francisco for five years before going out on my own.

Specialties

I am an Enrolled Agent, licensed to practice and represent taxpayers before the IRS. My client base is diverse, reflecting the wonderful variety of people in the Bay Area. It includes law firms, creative artists, same-sex married couples, self-employed business owners, surfers, retirees, teachers, scientists and financial planners. I work with all types of entities: LLCs, corporations, partnerships and non-profit organizations.
