Choices For Children

Operational since 1976, Choices For Children offers education, training, advocacy and professional development services for families and child care providers. It provides support services for operating and licensing child care facilities. The organization offers programs that promote health and wellness in children. Choices For Children provides financial assistance through the Child Care Subsidy Program. It serves more than 3000 child care providers, over 3200 children and nearly 2500 families. Choices For Children hosts various community events, including provider appreciation brunches and family gatherings, as well as recreational activities. The organization offers cash reimbursement to child care facilities for serving nutritious meals and snacks through the Child and Adult Care Food Program. It is affiliated with Child Development, which is a child care management organization.
