Chipman Junior High School

Chipman Junior High School enrolls more than 800 students in grades seven and eight. Its academic curriculum includes classes in English, mathematics, science and social studies. The school s facilities include a library media center, cafeteria, playground, computer laboratory and classrooms. Chipman Junior High School additionally supports a student council and chess, band, orchestra, jazz and booster clubs. It has a parent-teacher association that organizes several fundraising events. The school also offers programs in art, home economics and physical education. Chipman Junior High School organizes spelling bee competitions, book and science fairs, athletic leagues, essay contests and community service projects. In addition, it conducts after-school tutoring classes. The school also publishes a newsletter.
