Children's Growing Center

First United Methodist Church, founded in 1869, offers five worship services every week. The church provides a wide range of services through its children, youth, adults and young adults ministries. Its services include outreach projects, global missions, counseling programs, volunteer activities, hurricane relief project and mentoring programs. It also offers a thrift store for household goods, antiques, glassware and collectables. In addition, it organizes events such as Monday potluck, Friday breakfast, annual retreat, Padres baseball, picnics, fellowship meetings, Sunday school, health fair and blood drives, and quilt pink day. Its education program includes School Of Christian Studies, and Bible study, sermons, music, arts and the history project. The church organizes wedding ceremonies, and offers facilities that include meeting rooms, memorial garden, the Trotter Chapel and a music center. First United Methodist Church is located in San Diego.
