Children's Clinic Serving Children & Their Fami

Established in 1939, The Children's Clinic is a nonprofit community clinic that offers various health care services to underserved, low-income and high-risk populations. It provides general pediatric care, chronic disease management, prescription medications and health education services. The clinic also provides immunizations against vaccine-preventable diseases. Additionally, it offers on-site social workers who work with several other community organizations and provide assistance with transportation and interpretive services. Located in Long Beach, Calif., The Children's Clinic operates various satellite medical facilities. Its staff also works with the California Primary Care Association, the Long Beach Community Health Council, the Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services and the Children's Planning Council.
