Children of the Night is a privately funded non-profit organization based in Los Angeles, established in 1979 with the mission to intervene in the lives of children vulnerable to or involved in sexual exploitation, prostitution, and pornography. Over the years, the organization has rescued more than 17,000 American children, boasting a 70-80% success rate in permanently removing youth from prostitution.

As the only comprehensive program of its kind in North America, Children of the Night offers specialized treatment and education to help these children escape their circumstances and lead fulfilling lives. With a commitment to supporting these vulnerable youth without government funding, the organization has also successfully sent 100 children to college, helping many establish successful adult careers.
