The Chicano Park Museum and Cultural Center (CPMCC) is an educational and cultural hub that opened its doors on October 8, 2022, following years of grassroots organizing by community members and Board Members. Since its inception in 2015, CPMCC has provided valuable resources, programming, and support to the Barrio Logan Heights community, emphasizing the importance of Chicano history and resilience.
Recognizing the lands of the Kumeyaay people, the CPMCC aims to address historical injustices and promote dialogue and education regarding systemic oppression. With a vision to empower marginalized communities, the museum honors the legacy of the Chicano Park Steering Committee and actively participates in the struggle against violence and discrimination.
