After completing the Physician Assistant Program at Chapman University in Orange, California, Chiara began her career in cardiac surgery. Since then, she has earned a reputation for her meticulous attention to detail, outstanding multitasking abilities and heartfelt compassion for her patients. Jacqueline Malekirad, MD, received her medical education at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle in 2011. She later went on to complete her residency in internal medicine at Greenwich Hospital Yale New Haven Health in 2015 and her fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Scripps Clinics in San Diego in 2018. Dr. Malekirad decided to pursue medicine because she wanted to dedicate her life to alleviate pain and suffering in others. She loved the field of oncology because of its scientific aspect and fast pace in developing new diagnostic and treatment approaches. However, as a target of religious discrimination and persecutions, she was deprived of college education in her homeland in Iran. After immigrating to the United States, she finally found the opportunity to pursue her dreams.
