As a physician, the building of meaningful relationships with my patients and having a positive impact on their lives satisfies my desire to help people. As well, medicine is not a stagnant field which provides for constant and lifelong learning.

My philosophy of care is rooted in health and birth equity, and in social and reproductive justice. These philosophies which have been conceived of by many before me lay the groundwork for my approach of caring for my patients in the context of their individual circumstances and health goals. I feel it is important to recognize that we all have different starting points, assets, and challenges along the way of realizing our health and life goals.
