Chaparral High School

Located in El Cajon, Calif., Chaparral High School is a continuation school for the Grossmont Union High School District. The high school district serves more than 20,000 students in over 10 high schools. Chaparral High School provides an alternative educational setting for more than 300 students, including nearly 80 students with special education needs. The school serves students in grades nine through 12. It provides lessons in math, arts, English, physical education, science and social science. Chaparral High School also offers various programs and services to supplement the basic education program, which includes an incoming orientation, special education program, extended-day tutorials and Title I support.
