Cerritos High School, also known as CHS, is an educational facility that provides a range of learning opportunities for students in grades 9 through 12. Founded in 1971, its academic curriculum includes math, English, science, social studies and applied technology. The school offers guidance counseling, food and library services. Cerritos High School operates French, key and yearbook clubs. It also conducts dance drill activities and provides membership opportunities in the National Honor Society. The school is recognized as one of the best schools by the California Business for Education Excellence Foundation. Cerritos High School conducts several athletic events, such as cross-country, soccer, football and baseball. It also provides various extracurricular activities that include drama and music. The school is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Cerritos High School is a part of the ABC Unified School District.
