Central City Lutheran Mission

Central City Lutheran Mission offers various healing, encouragement, food and housing programs to assist low-income groups. Its adolescent health care program serves youth who are at high-risk for contracting HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases. It is also directed towards the prevention of teen pregnancies and provides nutritional education and services to neighborhood youth and children. The mission also offers various cultural and communications programs that utilize self-expression as a therapeutic moment for persons who are hard to reach and at risk in areas affected by poverty and gang violence. Central City Lutheran Mission additionally operates the H Street Clinic and provides a supportive housing program for homeless persons suffering from HIV. Its meal delivery service provides meals and food items for homebound persons with AIDS. Central City Lutheran Mission is located in San Bernardino, Calif.
