Care Connexxus has been serving the communities of Riverside and Sun City in California since 1978. Formerly known as Cooper-Burkhart House, Care Connexxus began as a volunteer effort by members of Trinity Lutheran Church. It is an independent, nonprofit, charitable organization, offering a wide range of adult day services for seniors who are mentally, physically or socially impaired and need assistance with the tasks of daily living. The center specializes in the care of patients with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of memory impairment. Its programs are partially funded by the County of Riverside Office on Aging, Community Development Block Grants, California Department of Education, United Federal Campaign, Riverside Arts Council, Change A Life Foundation, and community donations.

Vista Pacifica Convalescent is a part of Vista Pacifica Enterprises, which operates several nursing homes and health care centers. The nursing home offers residential, rehabilitative and health care services. It serves patients who suffer from Alzheimer s disease. It specializes in optometry, podiatry, respiratory and dental care services. Vista Pacifica Convalescent provides speech, occupational, hearing and physical therapies to adults with mental and physical disabilities. The nursing home also offers laundry, social, housekeeping and personal care services. In addition, it provides medical and psychological assistance services.
