Dennis Hood established himself as a dependable, "Do what it takes to get the job done!" painting contractor. Always providing quality work, Bulldog Brushworks grew and by 1994 Bulldog turned into Bulldog Brushworks Inc. As a painting contractor, Bulldog worked for several large and small general contractors. Completed several large industrial projects. Worked for HOA's and homeowners by the thousands. Dennis is always looking for a challenge! In 1995 Dennis was at the front of the Lead Based Paint awareness and clean up movement. One of the first to hold certification in Inspection and Assesment of LBP issues and designing specifications for abatement projects as a designer. As well as developing and providing training to painting contractors. While consulting a client on lead he noticed the house next door was for sale, and purchased the home as is. Needless to say the home needed extensive work. After remodeling (complete interior demo, new foundation, electrical, plumbing, roof etc.) and adding 600 SF to an old Willow Glen cottage. Dennis identified the need for responsible, pro-active, environmentally concientious, General Contractors who would act responsibly and choose to engage environmental issues like lead. Dennis aquired a general contractors liscence and started remodeling. As both avenues of business grew. Dennis chose to concentrate on General Contracting. In 2000 Dennis closed Bulldog and reverted the structure of the company back to sole proprietorship, and put Structural Imaging under its own license. Since then we have done all types of projects. From remodels and additions, to Design/Build Custom Homes, there isn't a challenge we are afraid to meet head on, and find the best possible solution to your needs.
