History

Proprietor and longtime restaurateur Terri Terry wanted to bring together great food, unique California wines, and genuine hospitality, and seized the opportunity in 2013 when she happened upon a great location one block off Main Street in Downtown Pleasanton, and just across the street from the newly opened Firehouse Arts Center. Her beloved staff extends the welcoming spirit to newcomers and regulars alike, creating a truly warm and relaxed vibe. Terri's vision continues to grow with 'the Door's' unbridled success as a creative, warm, inviting venue for dining, drinking, music, and special events.

Cellar Door is one of Downtown Pleasanton's most comfortable venues for fine wine, delicious bites, and regular live music on the weekends. Featuring over 30 wines by the flight, glass, half-glass or bottle, small plates designed for sharing and a great outside patio looking out to the Friday night Concerts in the Park, Cellar Door is the perfect place for a girls night out, date night or a snack before the show at the theater. Located on Railroad Ave across the street from the Firehouse Arts Center.
