History

Catalyst Soccer founder Alicia Piz started with a passionate mission to improve youth soccer so players would not have to suffer the numerous injuries she endured. She crafted a 12,000sf soccer gym that enjoyed 7 years of success in San Diego, but the vision for how Catalyst Soccer could impact the growing soccer community was greater than 1 city. So she and her husband Matt Couch, who had an impressive soccer career too plus lengthy experience as a teacher, formalized their effective training methods into an educational curriculum for trainers to develop players
