Cassava was first opened in the Outer Richmond on 3/5/2012. The original location closed on 9/24/2022, after a 10 year and 6 months run. Cassava moved into a new expanded location at an iconic corner of Columbus Ave and Vallejo St in North Beach. Cassava started as a small neighborhood cafe, and now into a modern California cuisine dinner destination serving 3 course prix fixe menu.
