Cassava is a French-Californian bistro in the heart of the historic North Beach neighborhood in San Francisco. The only Northern California semi finalists for James Beard Foundation's "Outstanding Restaurateur" category, Cassava is known throughout the city for not only for the cuisine of Chef Kris Toliao, but for the equitable restaurant operation that focuses on creating a safe place for all who work and dine in by eradication exploitation at all corners. The dinner offers a la carte menu that includes famous buttermilk fried chicken, pork chop and the burger, and also a 3 course prix fixe menu for $52/guest with a beverage pairing option that focuses on more creative and unique dishes including the signature slow braised lamb belly. Cassava is a great bistro style lunch and brunch spot on Columbus Ave with fine wine selection, perfect for corporate lunch meeting, open on Wednesday - Saturday.
