Established in 1978, Casa de Amparo provides a continuum of prevention and treatment services for abused, neglected and at-risk infants and children. The agency also operates a shelter facility that provides short-term emergency shelter, counseling and support services for children in the age group of 6 to 17 years. Its licensed therapists and professional caregivers coordinate recreational activities, medical care, play therapy and other individualized interventions for children. The agency s child development center offers a range of activities related to art, science, music and language development. Its clinical interns and psychiatrists offer strength-based individual, group and family counseling services. Additionally, the agency operates a family visitation program that provides developmentally-based supervised visitation for foster children and their biological families. Casa de Amparo is located in Oceanside, Calif.

They were on time and were very good about not making a mess and cleaning up after themselves also assured me if I had any problems they would take care of them right away.so very satisfied.

I was at casa de amparo for 9 months. Honestly the down stairs cottages are pretty rough sometimes. Upstairs is really nice. Most staff are pretty nice and do a splendid job of keeping us on...
