Cartan Field
Cartan Field in Atherton, CA is a premier baseball facility that serves as the home of the Menlo College Oaks. Renovated in 2017, the field boasts updated amenities including a modern backstop, dugouts, fencing, press area, and a center field scoreboard. With dimensions of 320 feet down the left field line, 315 feet to right, 370 feet in the alleys, and 425 feet to straightaway center, Cartan Field provides an excellent playing experience. The field is part of the Cartan Athletics complex, which also features tennis courts, a track, a football field, and Menlo School's baseball field.
Continuing to prioritize player safety and performance, Cartan Field expanded and relocated the dugouts to enhance the playable space behind home plate. In 2019, the home bullpen was expanded to three mounds and now includes a plyo wall for arm care routines. The facility also offers a covered batting cage equipped with state-of-the-art cameras and software for instant feedback during training. As members of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the competitive Golden State Athletics Conference (GSAC), the Menlo College Oaks showcase their talent in a conference that spans Northern California, Southern California, and Arizona.
