Carousel Consignment Sf
History
Carousel Consignment SF is the brainchild of co-owners Kelley Wehman and Illy McMahan. The two met in 2008 under a giant circus tent at that great big beautiful dust bowl in the desert called Burning Man. They quickly learned that they shared a love and flair for circus and all things vintage, having collected vintage/antique furniture, art, and decor for years, with a respective and collective fervor bordering on obsession. After a few years of sharing enthusiasms and trading stories of great finds, they came to the inevitable conclusion that their combined passion could work wonders were it given just one place to thrive. So, after some quick math, life re-evaluation, and scheming, they decided to work in cahoots, exploring the possibilities that a combined adventure could bring. After a couple years of resale exploration, the next step became clear: to open a store in San Francisco's Mission district unlike any other the area has to offer.
