Carol's Kitchen is a non-profit organization based in Calimesa, CA, dedicated to feeding the hungry in the San Gorgonio Pass and nearby communities of Southern California. Founded in 1998 by Jim and Arlene Ragan in memory of their daughter Carol, who was tragically killed by a drunk driver, Carol's Kitchen has grown from one small kitchen to eight large ones, serving over 1,000,000 hot and nutritious meals to those in need. With a mission to ensure that anyone who is hungry can be served a free meal, Carol's Kitchen operates various kitchens throughout the week, providing a vital service to the community.
Driven by Carol's motto, "Ask your heart what is right and follow it," Carol's Kitchen relies on the support of volunteers, donations, and partnerships to fulfill its mission. Through fundraisers, food drives, and the generosity of Hunger Hero Monthly Donors, Carol's Kitchen strives to strengthen the community by addressing the issue of hunger and providing nourishment to those who need it most.
