History

I have created my business to reflect my passion to teach students who struggle academically and emotionally in school. I have years of experience with ADHD/ADD, Dyslexic, ED and the self-esteem issues that go along with these diagnosis. My advanced degree is in Reading and Language. My desire is to use the knowledge and the tools I have learned to help struggling readers through the use of a systematic approach that focuses on each student's individual struggles.

HistoryNicole Miller was a special education teacher for 12 years. She decided to take a break from the classroom and start her own tutoring and advocacy business. Nicole quickly realized that there was a great need for highly trained, experienced reading teachers and her schedule became booked! SPEDSA tutors also provide online tutoring sessions. Nicole is an Orton-Gillingham reading specialist and now specializes in teaching children with dyslexia how to read.SpecialtiesNicole helped my child with autism and ADHD transition from a non reader to reading at grade level within 2 years.
