Carmenita Middle School offers several academic and extracurricular activities to students in grades seven and eight. The school provides classes in history, science, math, Spanish and English. It also offers student programs related to art, music, physical education and band. Carmenita Middle School has a parent-teacher association that encourages parental involvement in children s education. The school enrolls more than 600 students. It additionally operates science, art, Christian and homework clubs for students. Carmenita Middle School maintains a location in Cerritos, Calif. The school is a part of the ABC Unified School District, which operates several elementary, middle, high and adult schools.
