Carillons Handbell Choir
The Carillons Handbell Choir is an intergenerational ensemble based in Redding, California, sponsored by First Presbyterian Church and St. James Lutheran Church. With a collective experience of 256 years, the choir performs using 54 Schulmerich handbells and 43 Schulmerich Melody chimes, engaging volunteers who are passionate about the art of handbell ringing.
In addition to regular performances at their sponsor churches, the choir participates in community events, weddings, and funerals, and presents programs at retirement and nursing homes. The Carillons have a history of attending various handbell festivals and conferences, both regionally and internationally, including a mission trip to Germany to help establish a bell choir.
